We are an independent, self-organized community focused on political action and education on Israel Palestine.
We stand on the values of Standing Together—the largest grassroots movement in Israel Palestine, uniting Jewish and Palestinian citizens of Israel since 2015 to co-resist occupation and fight for peace, equality, and social justice. Standing Together is one of the most important opposition movements against the policies of the Israeli government and military on the ground.
Founded in November 2023 as part of the global Friends of Standing Together network, we have spent 2024 building connections, raising awareness, and taking action.
Since January 2024, we gather weekly online and approximately every six weeks in person in Berlin to organize actions, discuss critical topics, and host insightful presentations.
We welcome anyone who believes in justice, equality, and co-resistance. Whether you want to join discussions, organize actions, or simply learn more, there’s a place for you in Friends of Standing Together Berlin!

You are interested in getting activly involved in our group? Here is how: Join our WhatsApp community group here and take part in one of our weekly online meetings. We usually meet on Tuesdays or Wednesdays at 7 PM to exchange ideas, discuss current projects, and organize upcoming events.
You’re warmly invited – we’d love to meet you and have you with us!
In addition to the online sessions, we also try to gather in person every 4–6 weeks. Dates, locations, and Zoom links are all shared in the WhatsApp group.
Right now, we have four active working groups where you can contribute and get involved:
- Writing to Politicians For those interested in drafting letters and statements to politicians, media outlets, and institutions. Your work will support broader outreach efforts and provide ready-to-send materials for others to use.
- Vigil / Mahnwache Join this team if you’d like to help organize and manage our weekly vigils. Tasks include planning, on-site coordination, and ensuring the event runs smoothly and respectfully.
- Digital Communication This group oversees our social media channels, website, and newsletter creation. Ideal for anyone with interest in digital content and online engagement.
- FoST Bavaria/Baden-Württemberg If you’re based in southern Germany and want to get involved locally, this group focuses on building and supporting activities in the Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg regions.
The unresolved conflict in the region has brought decades of suffering to civilians. The ongoing Nakba, the genocide in Gaza, the October 7 massacre, crimes against humanity by both the Israeli government and Hamas, the illegal occupation, and the criminalization of the Palestinian liberation movement demand urgent, honest debate—now more than ever. Germany’s historical and current role—including complicity in Israel’s warfare—must also face critical scrutiny and clear dissent. We believe in bridges, not walls. We stand for the protection of all lives—Jewish and Palestinian.
We demand:
- A permanent and complete ceasefire
- Comprehensive humanitarian aid for the people in Gaza
- Protection of Palestinians from displacement and settler violence
- An end to the occupation
- A lasting and just diplomatic solution for all people on the land
We stand for:
- The enforcement of international law: The Israeli government and Hamas must be held accountable for the crimes they have committed.
- A critical examination of Germany’s historical and current role in Israeli policy and warfare, recognizing Palestinian suffering and resistance while ensuring the protection of Jewish life.
- The fight against the rise of fascism in Europe: opposing antisemitism, anti-Muslim racism, and societal division.
