Was als Initiative in Berlin begann, hat sich in den vergangenen Monaten zu etwas Größerem entwickelt: Aus einer lokalen Gruppe ist ein bundesweites Netzwerk entstanden, getragen von Menschen in vielen Städten und Regionen Deutschlands, die sich für dieselben Werte und Ziele einsetzen.
Deshalb gehen wir nun den nächsten Schritt: Friends of Standing Together Berlin wird zu Friends of Standing Together Germany.
Mit dem neuen Namen machen wir sichtbar, was längst Realität geworden ist. Unsere Bewegung ist nicht mehr auf Berlin beschränkt. Sie lebt von den vielfältigen Perspektiven, Erfahrungen und Initiativen von Menschen in ganz Deutschland. Was uns verbindet, sind die gemeinsamen Werte von Solidarität, Dialog, Gleichberechtigung und dem Engagement für eine gerechte Zukunft.
Für unsere Community ändert sich dabei nur wenig: Unsere Website bleibt unter der bisherigen Adresse erreichbar. Auf Instagram findet ihr uns künftig unter @standing.together.germany statt @standing.together.berlin.
Eine Bewegung, die wächst
In diesem Jahr sind zahlreiche neue Kontakte, lokale Gruppen und Vernetzungsstrukturen entstanden. Menschen aus verschiedenen Regionen haben sich eingebracht, Veranstaltungen und Mahnwachen organisiert, Diskussionen angestoßen und Räume für Austausch geschaffen. Diese Entwicklung zeigt, wie groß das Bedürfnis nach gemeinschaftlichem Engagement und solidarischer Vernetzung ist.
Wir möchten uns bei allen bedanken, die diesen Weg mitgestaltet haben. Jede Veranstaltung, jedes Gespräch, jede Idee und jede Stunde ehrenamtlicher Arbeit hat dazu beigetragen, dass unsere Community wachsen konnte.
Du bist nicht allein
Ob du aus Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Aachen, Stuttgart, Ingolstadt, München, Freiburg oder einer kleineren Stadt kommst – du bist Teil einer wachsenden Gemeinschaft von Menschen, die sich engagieren und vernetzen möchten.
Bereits heute gibt es feste Arbeitsgruppen für FoST Süddeutschland und FoST Norddeutschland sowie aktive Vernetzungen im Raum Frankfurt und in Nordrhein-Westfalen.

What began as an initiative in Berlin has grown into something much larger over the past months. What started as a local group has evolved into a nationwide network, powered by people across Germany who are committed to the same values and goals.
That is why we are taking the next step: Friends of Standing Together Berlin is becoming Friends of Standing Together Germany.
With this new name, we are making visible what has long been a reality. Our movement is no longer limited to Berlin. It is shaped by the diverse perspectives, experiences, and initiatives of people from across the country. What unites us are our shared values of solidarity, dialogue, equality, and a commitment to a more just future.
For our community, very little will change: our website will remain at the same address, and on Instagram you can now find us at @standing.together.germany instead of @standing.together.berlin.
A Movement That Is Growing
Over the past year, many new connections, local groups, and regional networks have emerged. People from different parts of Germany have joined the effort, organized events and vigils, initiated discussions, and created spaces for exchange and mutual support. This development demonstrates the strong desire for collective action and meaningful solidarity.
We would like to thank everyone who has helped shape this journey. Every event, every conversation, every idea, and every hour of volunteer work has contributed to the growth of our community.

Whether you are from Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Aachen, Stuttgart, Ingolstadt, Munich, Freiburg, or a smaller town, you are part of a growing community of people who want to connect, engage, and make a difference.
Today, there are already established working groups for FoST Southern Germany and FoST Northern Germany, as well as active regional networks in the Frankfurt area and in North Rhine-Westphalia.
